Crisis Access Link Model Services (CALM)

CALM is a short-term service that provides mobile, on-site, face-to-face, therapeutic response services to a youth and their resource family during an initial child welfare placement or following a move to a new child welfare placement. The service includes assessment, normalization of the trauma removal for both the youth and resource family, youth and family engagement in the crisis planning process, intervention and stabilization services, and referral and linkages, including referral to appropriate services along the DHS/CUA and behavioral health continuum of care.
